Lars "Lasse" Johansson has been playing Fingerstyle Guitar since the 60's. He recorded his first arrangement –"Maple Leaf Rag"– in 1969, and the first LP for Stefan Grossman's Kicking Mule records in 1974.
  During the 70's he continued to record many tunes for KM, the last LP was "King Porter Stomp", with arrangements of Jelly Roll Morton's music, in 1980.
  In the 80's, many of Lasse's arrangements began to appear in Stefan Grossman's Guitar Workshop series on Mel Bay.
  During the 90's Lasse's music was re-released on Shanachie CD's and with the new millenium Lasse signed with Mel Bay to produce books with his arrangements.
  Lasse is becoming more and more active on the international Guitar Seminar scene and in 2006 his new CD was released.
